・The museum opened on August 1, 2016 to introduce the history and culture of Sakitsu Village.
・The museum exhibits various tools for prayer from the period of the propagation of Christianity to the period of the ban on Christianity. In particular, must-see exhibits are a diorama of Sakitsu Village giving a glimpse of local people’s lives and their faith, as well as tools for prayer unique to the fishing village.
・The Japanese-style hotel Minatoya constructed in 1936 was renovated as a museum. Visitors can also enjoy the atmosphere of the old Japanese inn.
