・This is a round burial mound, 5 meters in height and 10 meters in diameter.
・It is said that this burial mound was created in honor of those executed in the Shimabara-Amakusa Rebellion.
・There is also a theory that the mound was built in honor of all those killed in the rebellion—both the rebel forces and the defending warriors—while another theory states that it was a tomb mound for a local ruling family of the Kofun Period.
